My list: X Why? Seishiru!!!!!!!!!! Chobits Why? I'm a sucker for a good romance, no matter how quirky. I cried buckets when I thought Motosawa kun was going to lose Chi forever. Ruroni Kenshin Why? I hated it because it was hyped to death at first, but just like ignorant people who stereotype and hate, I made assumptions based upon nothing and because it was mainstream. Well, turns out that since I like my action fast and hard, I received my fix and I was hooked. I gave something new a try, even though it was loved by millions before I got on the bandwagon. All in all, it's as good as the public claim it to be, now i'm a fan for life. lol Ai Yori Aoshi Why? Well, somewhere on one of these forums I said I wasn't looking for anymore Teshi and the like, this one stood out because our hero Hanabishi is enganged (kinda sorta) and I like this twist on the genre. Can he hold out? Will he succumb to the charms and pleasures of all these beautiful nymphs and madiens? My money is on yes. Witch Hunter Robin Why? (Noticing i'm listing relatively new anime? I love the classics, but some people couldn't begin to understand. ) I think she's cute and it doesn't hurt that she's a craft user. The story is well thought out, and although it has that Sailor Moon villian of the week theme it moves pretty fast. I really like this anime. Outlaw Star Why? Asia will you marry me? ;D lol Oh yeah, Gene and the rest are ok too. lol Excel Saga/Groove Adventure Rane/Those who hunt Elves Why? Comedies are nice, but when their this over the top with a mix of action then it's gold in my eyes (Should have included Kintaro's adventures in Golden Boy. Every male on planet earth will find something to be grossed out/applaud over the fun and games that occur on said show.) Clever scripts (Although the art in my opinion needs work. Hey, if you were brought up on Akira, Metropolis, Ninja Scroll, you'd say the same. lol ) and maniac action is what makes these champs in my books. Hope everyone learned alot from my zany anime experiences. lol Ciao

Naruto is a ninja anime. The story follows Naruto, a young ninja in training, who also happens to be the reincarnate of the Nine-Tails Fox Demon, his teacher, his teammates, and a large cast of other Ninjas... I think you will get more of a story if you go to www.brainfart.org/naruto/anime/anime.htm for more naruto info.

Here are some of my favorit series to watch:
Naruto
It just one of thouse series that once you start watching, you don't want to stop
Hikaru no go
Who would of thought they could make an anime on a board game so cool.
Gundam Movie Trilogy
The one that started it all put in a format that tell the story better. The tv version I find just too long with too many filler info.
Macross and Macross plus
Mech are like my things and macross is one of the first name ins the series. Robotech will allways have a place for a lot of americans for it was the first anime they evey watch and they didn't even know it.
Castle of Cagliostro
The movie that intoduce me to Lupin III. A magical tale done by anime master Hayao Miyakaki.
Perfect Blue
A movie that is a perfect example that anime is more then just for kids.

Perfect Blue is one complex anime. Can't figure out at the end if she's back to herself or not...

what do you mean back to herself? from the end of the movie, the current state of the main chracters to me is that she has overcome here idenity crisis and is able to live her life how she wants to live it. I don't know much about the orignial novel that the movie is based on but I do remember that last year they relesed a live action version of the film that was very diffrent from the anime. The live action version foces more on the stalker chracter then minma. I don't think there are any planes as of right now to bring this movie to the US.

Kamen Riders are not anime but acted by actor. It is something like Ultraman and Power Rangers yet the story and design are much more better.

hmm, favorites you say? well, my current favorites that i am watching now are Azumanga Daioh and Naruto.
Azumanga Daioh is one crazy comedy. It is the antics of a group of high school students. If you are looking for an intelectual, thought provoking anime that will change your perseption of reality, this isn't it. There is no real plot, There is almost no character development, There is no deeper meaning and there is no point to the show. No point but to laugh out loud and enjoy yourself.
Naruto is the story of a boy, Naruto, and his journey to become the greatest Ninja of all time. This series has that kind of "charm" that draws you in. The same kind of charm Cowboy Bebop has when you watch it for the first time. One of the marks of a good show/movie/book is its ability to create a connection with its audience. Ive watched 25 episodes of this series and i find myself rooting for Naruto and his two teammate, Sakura and Sasuke, throughout every episode. From just the first episode, you attach yourself Naruto because eventhough he may not be the best (and he might be not to far off from the worst) Ninja, he has that flame of desire, that strong heart to push onward against all odds. this strong connection is just one of the series good qualities.
I highly recomend both of these series, but unfortuantly neither of these series have been picked up for US release (yet).
