Where might I ask are you dling these animes?
Do you use IRC? Because I have no clue where to find a good channel, something fast and available (small/no lines).

there is a new way to download anime now, try www.animesuki.com and read all about it. That's for the new anime and some old anime. But before that, I join up with AnimeFantasia's P2P program, and download from there. But I don't use that any more, I just use that site now.

Fruits Basket = It's shojo, but I can stand it......it's strange. Oh, and the guy who turns into a cow is hilarious, it's a shame he isn't in it more often. -_-
Get Backers = It used to be great, but now it just seems to be a thinly vieled attempt to put Kadsuki in a lot of dresses and have Ginji act like a yaoi magnet for every fangirl out there. Way overdue for a new story arc now...
Gash Bell = I'm expecting good things from this one. Essentially it's kinda like any other "pocket monster" type show, but there's more character development in the first 6 episodes than I've seen in most series. The whole Highlander-esque "There can be only one" plot also means that there's gonna be a few tragic deaths along the way......which should liven things up nicely. ^_^
Initial D = I shouldn't like it ! The music is cheesy, the CG is terrible, it's over technical at times and the art work makes Jojo look like the Mona Lisa....and yet....it works....and it proves that women drivers can beat the guys any day!
There's a few others as well, but it's hard to keep track of them all. @_@x

Just finished watching Gene Shaft, it's one strange anime, with the ugliest mecha I ever seen!
Starting on Galaxy Angels, very funny!!!
Initial D! I love the music, but the character design need some work, guess that makes the CG looks better.

Actually, the character designs for Initial D get a lot better in Second Stage, not sure about the movies and ovas though, so I'll look into that.
I might have been a little overboard comparing Gash Bell to Highlander though....but it's definately got potential, but like most series, it'll probably only really get up to steam by about half way.
Oh, and just out of curiosity, how did people react to that Jojo homage in Puni Puni Poemi ? I was in stitches. ^_^
