thanks. but I can´t be a moderator. I don´t have much time to spend in this, and I know that it WILL take a lot of time. U can use my ideas, and if I have any other, I can post them here.
like this one: my stand is Made in Heaven. his power:solidify & molde the light.
BUT this is way too powerful! I could solidify an entire area around the enemy, just like stopping time! and many other things!
Just think about Giorno.he didn't knew all his powers in the beggining of the story. he learned them. So, I ,AS A PLAYER, create my own levels, like this: 16 points:can create something as big as a fist, with no definite form, and it HAS weight. 17 points:same size, but I can control the shape. 18 points:can use my speed to throw the "object". 19 points:a bigger object.
and so it goes on.so, each player creates their own levels, and the moderators won't have to be creating tons and tons of powers. after everything is set, the moderators see if these levels aren't too powerful.(it should take some time to have a greater power)
another idea: if the arrow hit a player, he can choose 1 of his characteristics to be infinite!and can create a power without the interference of moderators. (this shoud be REAL hard to achieve)
well, thanks again, see U all soon.

justajoestar, you are the man! The point system is nice and making people think of their own skills will make things more interesting.
Well, one thing still remains, how many people will actually play this Battle RPG?

I found something that could be useful: www.elendor.netthey play a game almost like what we are trying to do. it's based on lord of the rings, and they have all support , software, FaQ, and stuff that could help us start the game. and, the players...well, we could use a "challenge mode" we open a new place for topics only for this, then people enter and leave a challenge, like this: "Just a Joestar/Made in Heaven is waiting for anyone of 18 points or more for a battle, 10/august, 12:00(gmt) in the chat room Number 1--interested post here" OR "Just a Joestar & Highway speedking are waiting for challengers (group of 2 or 3) for a duel. interested people can choose day & place."

enter in www.alltheweb.com, and search for MUD.other sites like elendor can be found. there's another point I want to discuss: the "place" of the battles.the example I used was very simple.we should use something like this: (back to the dead end street) "the floor is made of stones, with sand.it's raining.there's a car on the left. three trash cans on the further wall." objects and situations like this can be used by the players. it's like a 3d shooting game:think about unreal, for example. there are many arenas to use, each one with their own enviroments, like a place were U can shoot at the enemies while hidden or something like that, got it? in multi player, the players could start far one of the other.

please, enter the sites I'm putting here, so U can have an idea of what I have in mind. there's a program that could put squares (like a chess game) on a drawing.so, U can draw the arenas, as seening upstairs, and put those squares to mark players movement and range of stands. aow2.heavengames.com/library/pbem/twinrose.net/features.phpthese are examples of well made rpg by net. we could use a forum for messages, and the judge uses a dice roll program, with a view of the place.

this is a very very very creepy example of a scenario for a battle.(I made it in 5 seconds) so, imagine it well-worked, with the correct size, and with the squares to count movement look: www.jojoclub.kit.net/creepy_example.bmp(PLEASE, COPY AND PASTE IT TO YOUR URL...)

I thought we were talking standard forum netbattling style? Like, an RP battle, except against each other, where you describe the environment... That way, you wouldn't need to be on at the same time or all that crap, and you wouldn't have to make new images and such, and it would be easier to make them, like at this place: www.vgf.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum;f=8EDIT: BTW, JustaJoestar, that link is down, and I tried copying + pasting.

wow, justajoestar, your ideas of a well made RPG is way over my head here.
The MU* thing sounds very nice, the software they offer there in Elendor requires you to log on to a server, and we don't have a server, so I think we could use a chat room for that. The example of the text-based battle I read in Elendor's can be done using a chat room also.
I can open up a new section in the forum to let people post challenges like you said. And there they can schedule the time and place to fight. If they are just text based, a forum, chat room, or even AIM will do. I don't see why we even need all the other programs.
