recently ive imported Viewtiful Joe for the gamecube and i must say its a pretty awesome game! if youve played the demo you probably know how cool it is.
if you havent played the game yet i can sum what its about...
its about a guy named Joe who takes his girlfriend Silvia on a date to see a Captian Blue movie( sort of a henshin power ranger type japanese film) but for some reason the movie comes to life and one of the bad guys snatch silvia away into movie land(sort of like last action hero but without the magic ticket ;D ) Joe then gets taken into the movie where then he gains the abilities of Captian Blue(which is slowing down time and speeding up time etc to defeat the enemies...can you say matrix ) to save silvia from the Jadow(badguys)....
the graphics or the game are top quality cell shading just like GioGio's bizarre adventure but with a stylish feel...kind of like you playing a old henshin movie
the gameplay is a lot like Devil May Cry where you can combo enemies and such but in a side scrolling environment. you have this abitity called VFX power that lets you slow down time or speed up time to change the offence of your character and the defence of the enemies and a whole buch of other things. ;D
the sound is great with the english voices that fit perfectly with the characters and theyre style. the music is what youd expect for that sort of game...its sort of techno and stuff...all i know is it fits and its good
the game is quite challenging but not impossible, if you think while you fight you will notice patterns can get you through the battle but you need to do it perfectly
as i said its like DMC and its about as difficult. it has 7 levels that are quite long and very difficult.
even though i imported the game almost 95% of the game is in english so if you have a import gamecube you must import this game! its an awesome game and im not the only one that wanted this game and couldnt wait to get it. be warned this game is quite popular right now so it might be a little hard to get
