both the OAV and the Part 5 game have been delayed for more than a year now ....
distribution problems...capcom losing money...

they have part 3 out on dvd in ny ctown or ebay if you really want it that badly. i did. ^_^ the original oav has pretty decent subs, but the new ones that they made have horrible english subs. i was planning on ripping the dvds and subbing them myself or something, but i dont have the tools for that... T_T

yeah, I just hate bad subs. Once I got ZOE hk dvd set and the sub was so bad, every episode the characters have different names!  |

yeah d**n these people. who has the license anyway? pioneer? im still waiting for the us release even though i have the bootleg one already, cuz i cant stand reading the subs. the last few episodes have stand users being called scapegoats or something. bleh. |

SuperTechno Art is the one that's going to release the DVDs, and they are hoping to release it this summer. Who knows, they might delay it once again.

Well, Right Stuf said that it would be Apr 15, and at the STA panel at Sakuracon they said that it was delayed because of glitches. But it should be out once the glitches are ironed out, as they showed the dub in one of the vid rooms.

I have to agree, the subbing is horrible on adventure vol. 1 & 2 but the OVA's are actually intelligible.

The reason the sub is like a piece of nuts......is cause all this nuts is not official. They are all pirated stuff from Hong Kong. Here I'll make it easy......next time you see a DVD that says it has both English and Chinese subtitles you can bet your stand its a copy. Even though they look like the real deal. Like the JoJo official release that is coming out in the USA, is in both English, Japanese, and Japanese with English subs. The real deal.

Yeah it is impossible to squeeze the series into the OVA...anyway I think OVA mean Original Video Anime, the word original means cannot be the same from the manga.

The first volume of the OVA is officially available for preorder at planteanime.net with or without the box. OK price, but you might want to wait until it comes to your local video store. For now we must all wait with our crappily-subtitled bootlegs from Hong Kong ( I ahve all the bootlegs).
