I love part 5, it is my favorite so far of the JoJo series. The characters are so lovable and the story is great. What do you think?

I'm not much of a hard critic, but I do have some gripes behind part 5 (although I guess i'm a hypocrite because I will buy Golden Whirlwind when it comes out. ) The idea that you have to beat someone up instead of whacking them to become boss sounds kind of iffy, especially when you're talking mob. My other gripe is that it's hard to believe the Backstreet Boys as stand users. I'm not saying that they should all be fat and ugly, but at least one believable good guy character should be on there, like Kuwabara from YuYu Hakusho. He's not cool, he's not a pretty boy, he's just joe blow with a code of honor. Nothing wrong with normal looking folks. Heck, Part 3 has them beat. People from all walks of life were apart of the team then. Now it's just fresh faced teens taking on hardened criminals. It's a manga, I know this, I shouldn't even go this far because the idea behind stands are farfetched. But you want to use believable characters on how they act and look so the average person can relate. Last but not least, why is it that everyone (aside from the user of Moody Blues) could take out an army with their stand this time around? Part 6 brings us back to the old school where it's believable that you can kill a stand user! Other than that though, I guess five ain't so bad. lol

One last grip. lol Why isn't Giorno a vampire huh? Someone answer me this. Can you say plot hole? Oh yeah, Is57tiger, a good forum disscussion would be if the Jojo villains had a free for all, who'd win? Battles like Dio Vs King Crimson could ensue. Or my favorite stand Killer Queen Vs Black Sabath (My money's on Kira ;D). We could certainly see The World vs. White Snake vs. Cream, that's something i'd pay money to see. Tell me what you think about it. k?

That's a good idea, about the villain's battles. You can set that up as a topic in the JoJo's general chit chat section. Ofcourse, when you become a member you are free to set up as many topic you want.

Why would Giorno be a vampire? I know Dio's vampirism would have spread to the entirety of Jonathan's body (including, shall we say, the male cell generators), but I don't think those male cells would necessarily have been vampiric themselves.
Of course, Hamon seems to be inheritable (q.v. Joseph at the very beginning of the second arc)...

that's a good question, I guess Giorno is taken to her mother side instead of Dios.

Hamon can actually resist and kill the vampire cells from spreading. Dio lost much of his vampire power after merging with Jonathan and he claim that he cannot totally control Jonathan's body. My own personel theory is that, Jonathan hamon power resist Dio's control and Dio need more Joestar's blood to help him to immune to the hamon power. On the other hand, Giorno may inherit Jonathan's hamon and the hamon although weak it is strong enough to protects Giorno from turning into a vampire.
Another possible theory, Vampire and human offspring is always a human. It appears that all the 4 sons of Dio is human.

Yeah, like the the vampire genes could be recisive and normal genes are dominant so when they breed there would be a certain percen..... forget it... too much scientific stuff.. ;D

I think the reason why Giorno isn't a vampire is because Dio wasn't born as a vampire... acquired traits don't pass on through genes =P But then again he totally genetically changed into a vampire so... in that case maybe it IS a reccecive gene ^^;; In part 6 there appeared around 3 or 4 other sons of Dio, but none of them were a vampire either =P
