it's really too bad... I love all those stand names which are named after music groups and such, and it's part of jojo's coolness. But I do see how it'll interfere with copyrights and such =/ ....darn.

did anyone read the post i made at gamefaqs? i emailed them and i got a really bad response...
Dear Sir/Madame:
Thank you for your recent inquiry to Capcom Customer Service.
Unfortunately, it is uncertain at this time if "Gio Gio's Bizarre Adventure" will still be released in the US market. While the game was in development for the US market at one time, there is no scheduled release date for it now and I do not believe there are any plans to release the game anymore. I recommend keeping an eye on our site for developments and announcements.
Again, thank you for contacting Capcom Customer Service.
Regards,
Sonny Abello SonnyA@capcom.com Capcom Customer Service (408)774-0400

I email Capcom too, they give me the same response, I posted it before. But I don't think the game will be released in the future... the chance is really slim...

We have to come to grips on whats happened. GioGio's Bizarre Adventure will not come out in the USA. But we must not lose hope. For some reason Capcom released the PAL version of the game!!!! Thats right you read it right. But they are not advertising the game. You will not find it at there European Capcom website either. Its very rare. But who cares it has English subtitles so you can understand everything. 2 problems....1 is money the game and shipping will probably cost 75 bucks and 2 how to play a PAL version game on your American PS2. Well this thing just came out called the slide card which is basically a boot up disc to play imports and back ups on your PS2 without the use of a mod chip or external hardware stuff, just a plain old boot disc. Go to www.slide-card.com to find out more about it. If you want to buy it go to www.mod-chip.com/slidecard.htm its cheaper and the shipping is way cheaper too. And now where to buy the PAL version of the game. Here is the site and steps on getting the game. The site is in Dutch, but I made a guide to help you guys out. Step 1: shop.insidegamer.nl/showproduct.asp?ProductCode=giops2This is the URL for the game, you can go there. Step 2: Press the Shopping Basket then you go to the next page. Step 3: At this page you will see "Ik ben een nieuwe gebruiker" this means "I am an new customer". When you press this you go to the next page. Step4: Here you can fill in your details. Gebruikersnaam: Username Wachtwoord: Password Wachtwoord: Password again Naam: Name Bedrijf: Company Adres: Address Postcode: Zipcode Plaats: City Land: Country Telefoon: Telephone Fax: Faxnumber Email: E-mailaddress Then down at this page you can choose an payment methode. The only thing you don't can click is "Verzend onder Rembours" because this is only for inside The Netherlands. Vooruitbetaling = Payment through you bank, you will get an reply with our bankaccount and then you can transfer the money to our account, when we have the money we will send the game out. Creditcard = Payment with creditcard then you go to our partner Bibit that handles our payment, when you press this button the rest of the site is in English and so more understandable.
