Thank you... Yeah I had a hard time on thinking how to make Giorno more natural yet still got the style and shape.

Nikki send me this message privately
Message from: nekki Sent on: Today at 12:30am I'm sorry to suddenly bug you, but I just wanted to say that... next time you post a photo manipulation, i think you should mention that it is one >_<; for example that kakyouin picture that you posted, it looks really nice, but it's edited off a picture of Neo from the Matrix (the slightest smudge/shapes were exact, though blurred), and though you said you used it as a refference, myself(and i think others as well) thought that it was done from scratch. Photo manipulation is of course a type of art too and does require skill, so i think it's nice for you to show us them (like I can now totally see how Keanu Reeves would make a good Kakyouin, hehe), but they should probably be clarified that they are edited photos to limit confusion. I also realized that the picture of Giorno you posted looks really similar to this sketch in comic book #63...though it's reversed and not coloured, it looks extremely similar. I didn't want to make a huge fuss so I decided to message you privately about it. I don't want to start a fight or anything at all, and I hope you don't feel too badly about this, but I take art really seriously ^^; So like I said above, it's nice that you post these neat pictures, but in the future it'll be better if you specificly mention any used refferences or original pictures. That's all, I'm sorry it became long. I hope you have a nice day, and see you around
Firstly I tot that most jojo fans will have seen this original sketch from the manga and understand that I took reference from the book, thats why I never bother to explain.I am sorry to offend anyone.... As for Kakyoin, it is not a photo edit. I copy the poster out on a piece of paper, did a few alteration and scan it into a pc....using photoshop tricks, i am able to do out the texture of the clothings...and using the poster as reference, i color it exactly the same...it is actually quite easy for all for know how to cg...it is very insulting to hear that i edit from a photograph.Because Hell No I DID NOT EDIT IT FROM A PHOTO. And I do feel very insulted and hurt.

wow, this makes me think of "Plagiarism", it is really serious in writing, especially in college. Plagiarism meaning "stealing". When writing research papers, many people copy other people's work and put it into their paper and said that is their paper and not give any credit to the authors! From what Nekki wrote to you, Takaha, it is like "Plagiarism" in the art form. I am no artist, but it is a good habit to give credit to the resources that help you in making your work.

uh oh. it's long again. This is why I didn't really want to make it a huge public debate-ish thing ^_^;; yes, plagiarism exists in art too like tiger said X3 looking at other people's artwork and using it as a refference is common, but that should always be given credit to. Like so in the future if you gave credit to what you got your refference from, there'll be no confusion and everyone will win The reason why I say that the kakyoin picture is edited is because I compared it with an enlargement of the original poster picture ( i.imdb.com/Photos/Ss/0234215/poster_keanu_full.jpg ) and noticed that the slightest shapes, such as the ear/minor bump on sholder/nose/exact area shaded were the same. I do CG and also draw with real media. Now I'm not about to say that I'm a pro at it or anything, but whether it's CGing or real media drawing, to create a replication is very hard. But I'm not saying it's impossible or anything either. I know a girl who recreates photo's to look close to totally exact to the original picture. It's truely amazing. She uses the gridding option on , which allows her to recreate the photo to be almost exact...because the slightest areas can be located in the same place. This girl used to get a lot of criticisms saying that it's a photo manipulation, but it's not, and she proved that to people by showing them the in-progress-works. So it IS possible to have an extremely close match, depending on what you use Hooray for photoshop, baby. I said this in my original message too, but really, I'm not trying to start a fight or become enemies with you or anything *_* please understand that! I'm sorry that you felt insulted, but as an artist myself too I felt the need to say something.
