Old school Jojo at it's finest. I know absolutely nothing about part one other than the fact that it's in Britain. I think Dio is in this one as the king of vampires or something. Part two although introduces GTO and Suzy Q. Gotta love those names. Joseph, as Mr. Badass himself, the guy looks too cool for the room with his backwards hat and stabbing toe of doom to the optical orifices of vamps everywhere. (Wish I could do that. lol) Me thinks that bringing hamon to the table was a mistake. If you're a vampire killer and doing fist of the northstar type killing (and have you noticed how close Tetuso and Hiraki's art are so similar, I swore it was Hara-san's work at first glance.) why do you need an energy wave, is this Vampire Hunter D or is this DBZ? Make up your mind people. All in all, I got my rocks off on the action satisfaction of countless undead bodies being decimated by my main man Jojo. Why did he become Cap'n Simp in the later volumes is beyond me. And please don't say that because he's old, that's the reason that he's become the Krillin of Jojo, Mr. Comic Relief. Ciao.

wow, Joseph a badass...I wish I could have see Joseph in action in Part 1 & 2. Being the fact that I only saw part 3-5, and Joseph's stand is over powered by Jotaru's Star Platinum in Part 3, he is too old in Part 4, he never even make a scene in part 5. Ofcourse, Araki's got to make room for upcoming new JoJo characters.

Joseph doesnt appears in Series 1. The first series is about Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando. In the last episode of Series 1 it explained how Dio's head is merged with Jonathan's body. Series 2 is the story og Joseph Joestar who is the grandson of Jonathan.

Thanks Takahan. Wasn't sure where Jonathan Joestar fit in at all in the story. What was part one about anyway? Surely Dio Brando and his alcoholic father is someone where on the menu.

Part 1 is during the victorian period where jack the ripper still exist. Dio Brando worn a mask and become an evil vampire. Dio attepted to kill his foster dad, George Joestar, but is stopped by Jonathan, Reo Speedwagon(yeah reo speedwagon later become the founder of SPEEDWAGON organization). Dio escaped....In order to destroy Jonathan practise HAMON from a hamon master, Zepellie, and the story goes on.....

Joseph is awesome in Series 2. He is the weakest of all Joestar, yet he is the most cunning of all. Joseph doesnt have strong hamon nor stand at that time yet he defeated the most powerful villian of all Jojo series, Kars who is also the creator of the mask. Joseph lost both of his hands during the final finale with Kars. REO Speedwagon got his scientist to make a mechanical hand for him....sound like Hirohiko got the idea from star wars wow, Joseph a badass...I wish I could have see Joseph in action in Part 1 & 2. Being the fact that I only saw part 3-5, and Joseph's stand is over powered by Jotaru's Star Platinum in Part 3, he is too old in Part 4, he never even make a scene in part 5. Ofcourse, Araki's got to make room for upcoming new JoJo characters.

Something special about Joseph. Joseph is a sony supporter. He had a sony discman in series 3 and a sony md player in series 4.

Hey, glad I have finally found a Jojo board with some members! I think Jojo is an awesome series, I have it all in Japanese, even though I can't read it You guys mentioned IgnitionOne, those guys are sweet! they did like 30 chapters in less then a month or somethin like that, that is just awesome. The quality is sweet as hell too, good thing i found them otherwise i would have to try and figure out what was going on in my books! haha i hope they get that translator back soon, my frend said that they have gotten floods of fanmail asking to help out and stuff, that is sweet the site you gave us is awesome too, just no offence and stuff i normally point people to ignitionone because their stuff is a lot easier to read and looks better. but keep up the great work! both or you guiys are sweet incase you lost the link www.ignition-one.com is for igniitionone and veggie is jojo.highervoltage.net/ both groups are sweet, but if you are like me and want quality over quantity check out IGNITIONONE they do some good stuff! Hope to chat more!!!!

I know my scans aren't the best, but now it's the beggar being the chooser. If you want to point people to quality that's fine, but I don't recall anyone even attempting a scanlation before me. I go at it for over a year and spread the word of Jojo and attempt to recruit new translators/editors etc. ALL BY MYSELF, but all I hear is "IgnitionOne did 30 episodes in a month". Yeah that's cool and I liked it too but then they stopped and if they're track record is consistent, once they stop it's pretty much over.
There's a thing called dedication. I'm not only doing Jojo but everything related to it. I have a translation of Gorgeous Irene in the works, also by Araki. I'm trying to get all art posted.
Yeah the site's ugly (I'm no web designer) and my scans are small (I call it 56k friendly) but I AM a fan. One of the biggest. You can't contest that. And you can't deny others the enjoyment just because you don't like the quality.
